I used to trap lobster quite a few years back when I had a boat and now my traps with ropes still sit in my shed waiting someday when i might get another boat ..may never happen i’m getting to old i guess …i remember pulling pots and getting 35 lobsters in one pull it was fun to see 12 lobsters in one pot we used to do the lobster dance as we pulled pot after pot lol we had two licences enough for 20 pots 25.00 in them days … I wondered many times how well long island sound is doing with lobster i heard talk once they were planning to shut it down for 5 years any one know ???
